Fire protection for apartment buildings
Based on the fire safety legislation, apartment buildings are obliged to install a 12 kg automatic roof extinguisher in the boiler room and a 6 kg hand-held extinguisher in the lift engine room.
The 6 kg manual extinguishers usually located in the stairwell are optionally installed to ensure your physical and property integrity. For the best coverage of your apartment building it is recommended that one 6 kg hand-held unit per floor be placed outside the ground floor to prevent theft.

12 kg ABCE dry powder type ceiling fire extinguisher
Cylindrical-shaped container, CE certified, with metal manometer, equipment capacity 13.4 lt, operating pressure max 18 bar and extinguishing radius 3-4 m. Its automatic operation is activated on the sprinkler head, whose breaking temperature is 68oC and protected by a round base.
The purchase of the 12kg ceiling fire extinguisher is carried out once every 10 years.
Its free installation is carried out in case the ceiling is of normal height and material.
In the case of a high ceiling boiler room or plasterboard ceiling, then an iron pipe needs to be installed across the width of the room and at a height of 1.50-2.00 metres above the burner and boiler junction. This height is set so that there is direct detection of temperature rise by the fire extinguisher. This work is priced differently.
Portable fire extinguisher type 6 Kg ABC dry powder
Cylindrical-shaped container, mono-shell, CE certified, shutter with safety catch CE certified, with metal pressure gauge, with dry powder discharge hose, with hose support strap and wall mount, EN3, CE certified. Suitable for fires on Solid (A), Liquid (B) and Gaseous (C) Fuels, in the presence of electricity up to 1000V.

Portable CO2 Fire Extinguishers
CO2 (carbon dioxide) fire extinguishers are essential in most establishments as these extinguishers are the only ones recommended for electrical fires as they are also suitable for flammable liquid fires.
Portable CO2 extinguishers come in two sizes, 2kg and 5kg and are used for Class B fires involving flammable liquids such as petrol, spirits, oil, solvents and oils (not cooking oils), and fires involving electrical hardware such as computers, panels, switches and electrical appliances. You will usually need a Class A fire extinguisher, foam or powder to accompany the carbon dioxide to cover all hazards.
